TrueNorth’s Employee Spotlight: Kristin Boyle. Meet the owner of TrueNorth Marketing Directions, Inc …

Name: Kristin Boyle
Position: Owner

I was born and raised in a remote village called Fairport.
When that got too populated, I was further removed to a boarding school in New Hampshire.
I’ve ridden elephants through the jungles of Thailand.
I’ve climbed the Rockies and dove the Great Barrier Reef.
I can figure out a business, put a marketing plan together, and increase sales.
I drive a sensible car.
I like spiders – they eat all the other bugs.
I started working for Mason Selkowitz Marketing in 1992 as their 3rd employee.
7 years later, and very much wiser, I left to freelance.
My first freelance client told me I should start a business. So I did.
My powers of ESP are useless but impressive after the fact.
I operate heavy equipment but I’m not licensed.
My laptop is verified.
My horse is broke.
I’ve conversed with old men walking their birds in Hong Kong.
My limits: I refuse to bungee jump or sky dive.
I don’t have a blog, but I know how to make one.
Everyone should go to New Zealand at least once.
I’ve launched web sites and crashed computers.
I’ve attended weddings on the beach in Anguilla.
I’ve rafted category 5 rapids named “The Devil’s Toilet”.
I make a plan and stick to it.
I’ve skied Tuckerman’s Ravine.
I’ve had drinks at The Windows on the World.
I’m terrified of long bridges.
I leap at opportunities.

BUT. I’ve never been to the Lilac Festival.
